"When a musician enters a concert-hall stage riding a 2,000 pound live buffalo, you know he means business!"
- Lawrence Johnson, Chicago

"That meat-based diet must agree with Ted Nugent. Unlike many of his veteran metal brethren, Nugent can still rock with a vengeance."
- Delma Darzin, Los Angeles

"Nobody, but nobody should be this good."
- Kevin Williams, Chicago

Thanks to the 'Ted Nugent Machine'. When I was nine, I was introduced to the music of Ted Nugent. I am 38 now. I liked his music and love for the great outdoors. Since I loved the outdoor life then and now. That was something healthy to look up to and admire. The messages about not doing drugs was probably one of the major influences on me not getting involved with narcotics or even experimenting. There should be more people like that today in entertainment where kids gravitate, emulate and can elevate. It worked here. Thanx Ted!!!

Ted,
Back in the day's I was hangin with the wrong crowd, smokin the grass and just being a little dickhead. I thought it was cool to be a burnout, then I heard you on the Radio, the Nuge was 100 percent anti drug! No one was speaking out telling kids not to go down that road. I just want to say thanks for the alternate frame of mind you gave me back in them days. I've gone on too have a successful career in the Military and raise a good family with 3 kids. I just want to say thanks Ted! You to my knowledge were the 1st rocker ever to talk shit all the while the press tried to make hero's out of Morrison, Hendricks, and every other asshole that ever OD'd at the time. This is probably why they never play your records on the radio Ted. To me your the greatest modern American Hero. I just want to say thanks Ted
Very Respectfully,
David Allen Begy
Chief Petty Officer, USNR

HI TED...I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT PERFORMANCE AT PENNS PEAK ON JUNE 30th.....I'VE SEEN YOU MANY TIMES...YOU ALWAYS WERE THE GREATEST AND YOU STILL ARE !!! ....I HOPE THAT YOU PLAY THERE AGAIN !!!! ....ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU !!!!......GOD BLESS YOU AND AMERICA! - Gary Zuchowski

After 30+ years of following your career I was truly honored to finally meet Ted Nugent. My 14 year old made mention that he noticed Ted's sincerity when drugs or helping children were discussed with the fans. Not only was it a fabulous show but another child was touched with a message and I thank you once again for that.
- Deputy Greg Popovich 6793, for Dillon and Sgt.Pat Lambert.

Ted...I must say that you put on the best show that I have seen all year. For that matter, it was probably the best show that I have seen in a couple of years. Your energy was unbelievable, and even though you were sweating your A$$ off, you played continuously. You are something else dude! Rock On!!!!!!
- Shawn, IA

I had a tremendous time at your show last night in KC. It was the fourth time I had seen you, although it had been about 25 years since I had last attended one of your concerts. You are still a great performer and the best guitar player I have ever seen.

I've done a lot of things in my lucky professional life, but introducing Ted Saturday night was a high point. Thanks and continued good wishes! -Mark ,The Mark Davis Show, ABC Radio Network

My first Nugent concert. Amazing. I,ve been to a few concerts, but this was by far the best I have ever seen. My ears are still ringing. I think the highlite of the night was when the Nuge finished and walked off, I yelled to my buddy, "he didn't play Motor City Madhouse!! The crowd went crazy, (me & my buddy included) and he came out for a encore. Low and behold, "Motor City Madhouse"! Thank you, Thank you! A night to remember!!!!

I went to your concert in OKC Saturday Night and you were AWESOME. You are a great entertainer and i cant tell you enough how much me and all my friends enjoyed it. I am a Firefighter and I also own my own Gunshop so all your views are also my views and its nice to see someone with your influence shares opinions with the common man. I am your BLOOD BROTHER for life and i wish you the best. Cant wait to see you again.
-Rick Garcia

(The concert) was amazing," said 17-year-old Sean Murphy. "I knew he was pretty old, 'cause my dad talked about listening to him in college, so I wasn't expecting him to be that loud and energetic, but it was like the place was on fire. People came out in a buzz, my ears were ringing -- it was amazing."

I saw you last night in San Francisco, you fucking rocked. I took my 15 year old son to see what rock and roll is all about. and you didn't didn't disappoint. Awesome show. I really liked the warm up band too, what was the name of the group. Keep rocking Ted. What kind of music ....... Soul. God bless America.
- Brant

Took the wife on a three mile, 5,700 foot high gondola ride to the top of Silver Mountain Resort in North Idaho last night to experience the Nuge! Just who the #%@% does Ted think he is, anyways??!! I've seen Ted many times since 1975...he just doesn't stop! Just who the #%@% does he think he is, anyways? Ted has never sounded better... the Funk Brothers never missed a beat (I know... we felt every one - to the bone!) - Mike Stuhlmiller

Amazing is an understatment! Ted and the FunkBrothers keep getting better, if that's possible. The great combination of Ted's original rock style, blues, motown, all blended together. Damn. Just damn. If you ever get tired of Ted, then you're tired of rock.

Thanks to Ted for his impromptu encounter with my son and his National Guard unit in Broken Bow, Nebraska at the Tumbleweed Café. My son very much appreciated Ted’s support of them and other military personnel. As parents of 2 active duty servicemen, my wife and I also want to express our gratitude for Ted’s very public support. His efforts are appreciated very much.
- Dave and Joni Ritchie

I was fortunate enough to meet you at Billy bob's on 8-5-06. I believe and practice the ideas and beliefs you bestowed upon us that afternoon but you made me realize that it is not enough. I want to participate as you stated so I became a member of the NRA and I will become a member of similar organizations here in the great state of Texas.
I have always been a huge fan but I must say that when you played the Les Paul at Billy Bob's Saturday night, you ripped Fort Worth a new one.
Fantastic show! Thank you, Todd Lawson

I brought my 10 year old son to the front of the stage and held him up to you and you handed (not tossed) him your pick. I can't tell you how much that meant to me, having been a fan since I was 12.
- Jeff Heath

What a great show!! The energy... the passion... I'm speechless! Ted's rendition of "Soul man" last night was BRAIN SMASHING AWSOME! The BEST "Fred Bear" I have ever heard. FIVE different guitars. "Cat Scratch" made the strings melt.

What more can I say, it was the best Ted show I have ever seen. That means it was the BEST show I have ever seen. Ted isn't "the man" anymore. He has transcended to another beyond mortal level. I can't count the number of Ted's concerts I've been to in my life. Every one is nothing but raw energy at it's finest!

I found my head in a pile that had been swept up after the show. The titanium bolts failed to survive the beast that Ted unleashed on the crowd at Myrtle Beach House of Blues. The crowd went wild and Ted worked them to a full frenzy. O.M.G.! What a show. If you can't beg, borrow or steal your way to a Ted concert, I truly feel sorry. It will renew your soul and light a fire in your heart. Thank you Uncle Ted. Debbie and I will not forget it.
- Ray Smith

While Ted’s shows are certainly PG13… Ted’s message of SELF RELIENCE, PATRIOTISM, RESPECT FOR OUR MILITARY, RESPECT OF SELF, HARD WORK, HEALTHY LIVING… etc…etc…etc… is a great place for a teenage boy… I round up many from the neighborhood every time Ted is near… I do require them to wear earplugs though… Ted’s message is LOUD, CLEAR, COOL, SOULFULL and FUNNY...
- Mark Walters & family

My first concert was seeing you in Fresno Calif back in 1978 and it changed my attitude and my life. My son is now 16 years old and hasnt seen a concert yet until you. Yes, this was his first concert too. Just wanted to thank you sir, for everything you have done and all the great shows you've played. I've seen you 5 times, but the greatest show was watching my son watch you in awe...thanks my brother for showing my son Mike what the Motor City Madman and true rock and roll is all about!
- Your Bloodbrother, Dave Bush

Last night I seen you for the third time and boy it was everything I knew it would be! You have such a Love for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of American Freedom it is overwhelming. Keep Rockin' and I can't wait to see you again!
- Lisa Raimer

I can't thank you enough for the fabulous show you gave us last night in La Crosse. It stirs my deep woods soul to hear a REAL AMERICAN speak and encourage the rest of us to stand up and speak out for what’s right and be proud of it. You fired me up and I guess I was too impressed when I shook your hand last night to say what I wanted so I will now, I stand up for you because YOU stand up for all of us. God bless you.
Sgt. Dave Schatzley
La Crosse Police Department

Mr. Ted Nugent!

I got the pick you threw out to the crowd on your last encore, THE GREAT WHITE BUFFALO! Teddy, what a show! I couldn't hear for 24 hours afterwards even with earplugs, but you still raise the roof! The pick and ticket are proudly displayed in my home.

Your act of kindness for the gentleman who was in bad health meant to me. Rarely, do you see musicians of your caliber take the time to spend a few precious moments with an avid fan before the concert and then to dedicate and sing a song directly to them is truly a blessing for him and his family and friends.

I appreciated what you did for this man that I have never met but through a mutual friend. I understand he has since passed away, but you made his night a spectacular evening!

Jim Samuelson

Ted is always a joy to talk to and his energy and spirit are contagious. I have always found his guitar playing inspiring and his attitude uplifting.
- Jeb Wright, March 2003

I still tour like a man possessed, because I am.
- Ted Nugent

I've had great bands. I’ve been really lucky. I’ve had the privilege to collaborate with some of the world’s greatest musicians...I’m a lucky, lucky man.
- Ted Nugent

You put your heart and soul into the rehearsals so you are as intense and as soulful and as tight as musicians can possibly collaborate with all their gifts from God tuned in to the creative process.
- Ted Nugent

It’s not about looking good or impacting people with personality or image. It’s about the music.
- Ted Nugent

I let my soul work up a big, greasy puddle of sweat every night because I crave my music. I don’t just enjoy making music and I don’t just like touring. I literally crave it.
- Ted Nugent

I crave the primality, the primal scream, the primal urges and awareness that my music represents to my lifestyle and it’s a lot like my hunting lifestyle, it’s just a little bit more crazy.
- Ted Nugent

I can’t wait to pick up that nasty ass Michigan Gibson guitar and turn on an amp and cause people to go berserk.
- Ted Nugent

To this day I crave plugging my guitar in. I crave it more now than I ever have before. I crave it more now than when I was a ten year old in the garages of Detroit. I still celebrate that primal scream. I celebrate being the best that you can be.
- Ted Nugent

The music has a life of its own. It’s extremely sensual, and sexual...the songs are the bosses. The songs dictate a certain flow and a certain spirit. I’ve a slave to the music.
- Ted Nugent

I’d love to play with the Rolling Stones. They still have such an emotion to their music... such a sassiness, it still turns me on as much now as it did in the beginning. That would be a riot for me to play with Keith Richards and Charlie Watts… it would just be a riot.
- Ted Nugent

You have got to hear this new AEROSMITH tribute album. I did a version of "Rag Doll" that caused both Joe and Steven to squirm. It is a bad motherfucker, one of the best things that I have ever done.
- Ted Nugent

If you kick major quantities of ass on stage, play with uninhibited enthusiasm, practice, and believe in what you're doing --- not because you're competing --- but because you can't wait to practice, then you're going to succeed.
- Ted Nugent

My music revolves around beautiful women and my idea of a beautiful woman is a dark-haired and dark-eyed exotic woman. That's my weakness.
- Ted Nugent

Music over drugs was an easy choice for me.
- Ted Nugent

I'm a musician and I want to play. I didn't start playing the guitar to fill out the Astrodome. I didn't have any visions of the peak of my career in the late 70s being the #1 grossing band in North America for three years. I didn't have that in mind when I started playing guitar. I started playing guitar because I loved the sounds it made and I still do.
- Ted Nugent

I crave certain sounds so I'm out there to satisfy myself. So if I satisfy myself, or at least prick my own imagination, then anybody who likes to rock out is going to have a wonderful time.
- Ted Nugent

I just love what I do. You saw me on stage tonight. What I do defies comprehension. I just can't answer whether or not I'll ever run out of energy.
- Ted Nugent

Sex is the single most powerful motivation in all my music and all good music.
- Ted Nugent

If you have a musical stream of consciousness and you just let it flow then the guts and spirit of your music will come out.
- Ted Nugent

All good music has honky-tonk in it.
- Ted Nugent

I believe that all the stuff that turned me on, from the Chuck Berry’s, the Bo Didley’s, and the Howlin’ Wolf and the Lightnin’ Hopkins...and even the Elvis Presley’s and ultimately the Jimi Hendrix’ and the guitar onslaught, it really came from a sense of defiance...saying this is a stupid system, this is a stupid idea...here’s my middle finger you may want to try it on for size.
- Ted Nugent

I've seen you play in Indy 4 times dating back to 1979, I must say you haven't lost a lick. Great show! I hope I'm still rock'n and hunt'n at 58! Keep it up!
-Guy

Thanks for a great show in Palmer! We recently lost our uncle and he was the great white hunter in Alaska. When you sang Fred Bear it brought tears to our eyes. Thank you for keeping the spirit of the wild free.
- Mark Cronk

As a veteran of Desert Storm, I want to thank you for the Great show in Rockford. The tribute to the military made me so proud to have served my country. Your dedication to my Brothers and Sisters protecting right now is incredible, again THANK YOU so much for your support of the our MILITARY we need more true Americans like you.
- Brad Gustafson

Thanks for making Florida part of the tour. The Show in Orlando was electric. The minute you took the stage the place was just overcome with your energy, spirit, and soulfulness. Last night's show in Pompano Beach was the best I've ever seen, and I've seen you probably 30 times since 1975. You and the guys in the band looked great. The sound was awesome. Once again, the energy, the spirit, the soulfulness, the patriotism.. it was all magnificent. It was such a joy and inspiration to see you who at this stage of your life and still at the top of your game. It's no wonder that after all these years, you still have a loyal following of fans that appreciate everything you do, while at the same time creating new fans everyday. You are a phemomenal musician and a great american; and you have made a difference in so many people's lives both musically and in other areas as well. You made this past week one of the best ever. My 14 year old son came away from that show last night forever changed. I know how he feels, cause that's how I felt back in 1975. Thanks for being you. See ya next time.

I just saw your Silver Mountain gig and all I can say is WOW! Absolute bone shivering madness flowed through my every nerve, I am a guitarist and felt like It was going away, 4 kids and all. But you opened my eyes to a new kind of light and I have to thank you. I feel that you changed my life for ever for the good. For that, I thank you as well as my Family and bloodbrothers all around.
- Gary Wilson

The show was phenomenal and Ted had the crowd rocking all night! We were especially proud when he gave “shout outs” to the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines. As an Air Force veteran... We left with smiles on our faces. My wife Eva and our two teenage sons are still talking about it and CPT Oman and SGT Ramirez had the best time.
- Mike

DON"T MISS THIS TOUR GANG! And TED... you are amazing, professional, and have the compassion of 100 men in that soul brother!

If the liberals knew how much fun Ted was having they'd try and pass a bill to outlaw it. The fun is contagious. Watching someone who is a master at what they do and enjoy what they do is inspiring to say the least. He played with the crowd in between songs even cracking himself up.

I have listened to you on the radio and on cds for as long as I can remember. On July 3rd I had the opportunity to see you at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach and you blew me out of the water. You are insane and I will never forget that concert. THANK YOU for rocking so hard for so long. A loyal listen from day 1.
- Leo
