TED NUGENT Inoculates Us 'InTheStudio' for the 35th Anniversary of Cat Scratch Fever

04/26/12

North American syndicated rock radio show InTheStudio: The Stories Behind History’s Greatest Rock Bands is headline material this week with the always outspoken, sometimes controversial force of nature Ted Nugent on the 35th anniversary of his multi-platinum selling 1977 album Cat Scratch Fever.

Making headlines last week for his much publicized visit from the United States Secret Service, Ted Nugent proved to friends and foes alike that his notoriety has not faded with age. Having started his musical career in the late ‘60s drug-induced counter culture, Ted would stand apart, not just for the music and energy released on stage, but for the sobriety he maintained offstage, as show host Redbeard uncovers:

What has Ted Nugent done all his life with Rock ’n’ Roll? He has been totally uninhibited and had a great time and nobody’s gotten hurt. More importantly, of the thousands of letters I get, I have impressed upon young people and all different types of people that Ted Nugent has kicked more Rock ’n’ Roll a** than a whole herd of other people. And I’ve never gotten high.

InTheStudio is syndicated on over 50 radio stations across North America. The Ted Nugent/ InTheStudio program will air on radio this weekend.
