Thousands enjoy Laredo Air Show

Laredo, TX -- Amazing stunts, surprise appearances and more grabbed the attention of thousands Sunday, February 14th at the Laredo International Airport for the WBCA Stars and Stripes Laredo Air Show Spectacular.

Thousands of people turned out to the Laredo International Airport and if you ask any family they'll tell you the spectacle is second to none.

Legendary American rock star Ted Nugent made a surprise appearance to kick off the festivities. Nugent was made an Honorary Member of the C. Company Texas Army National Guard for his service, dedication and support of the American solider.

After Nugent's emotionally stirring acceptance, high flying mid-air stunts, and aircrafts of enormous proportions stunned and amazed. Cheers from crowds wowed even the stuntmen themselves.

"Ever since you're a little kid you always dream of flying," said Jarell Bermudez, "I used to be one of the kids watching. Its nice to know that I bring this excitement to kids now ... its awesome."
