Rocker Ted Nugent In Santa Cruz
Performs At Sold-Out Concert

  SANTA CRUZ -- Musician, hunter and staunch
  conservative Ted Nugent was in Santa Cruz. The gun
  advocate put on a bow and arrow demonstration at the
  Catalyst Wednesday, before rocking a sold-out
  concert.

  Nugent spoke about the outdoors and how much he
  loves hunting. In fact, he said he lives to "kill it and grill
  it." He didn't hesitate to offer up his political opinions.

"I'm heartbroken that a man like Barack Obama could ever get to the position of running for president. I think it's an indication to a degree soullessness that exists in this country, when you see people cheering for Barack Obama, they are cheering for mediocrity," Nugent said.

Nugent played at the Catalyst. It was show no. 6,000. He just released his 35th album late last year.
