Kevin Matthews began his radio career on 96.9 FM WLAV in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the early 1980s and soon took his quick wit, crazy characters, and zany sense of humor to the airwaves in Chicago, where Nugent was a frequent—and wildly popular—guest! In 2005, Matthews returned to Michigan and WLAV, and is also heard on 94.9 FM WMMQ, Lansing.
