PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE ON BLACK BEAR MANAGEMENT
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
NATURAL AND HISTORIC RESOURCES

Notice of opportunity for public input on the management of the State's black bear population.

Take notice that the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking public input on black bear management in the State of New Jersey, including black bear preservation and management goals, the various means by which the preservation and management goals may be accomplished, and the factors to be considered in determining which means should be implemented to achieve those goals.

A public meeting on black bear management in the State of New Jersey will be held on August 8, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. at the New Jersey State Museum, 205 West State Street, Trenton, New Jersey 08625.
