Various Bushmaster folks working at firearms trade shows have had the pleasure of meeting Ted Nugent - we're big fans of his, and as it turns out Ted is a big fan of Bushmaster rifles. So when Ted started telling us, at last year's NRA show, of his plans for a "Bushmaster Bronco" - to be built by Gearz TV's Stacey David, our wheels began to turn as well.

What better to be hangin' in the back window of Ted's Bushmaster Bronco than a sweet custom Bushmaster rifle! Karen, a Bushmaster Executive Assistant, twisted then CEO John DeSantis' arm to provide just such a rifle, and when Jon, of Bushmaster's Marketing Dept., saw pix of the great Stacey David paint job - with snakeskin imagery by airbrush legend Mickey Harris ­- running along the Bronco's sides, it was just natural to go searching for a snakeskin camo finish for the custom Bushmaster.

Once we tracked down a source for just such a snakeskin finish, parts were sent and coated, and assembled at the Bushmaster factory in Maine. This special .223/5.56mm Bushmaster carbine includes a 16" fluted, chrome lined barrel, a free floating four rail forend, flip-up front & rear iron sights, 6 position telestock and an ErgoGrip pistol grip. We topped it with an EoTech Holographic Sight for those quick "two eyes open" shots on that elusive coyote.
