Ted was well received during his visit to Western Michigan University (WMU) when he addressed the campus' Republician contingent.

The crowd was the largest and most enthusiastic crowd we have ever had at a College Republican event. Ted’s stage presence kept the audience’s attention the whole time he was speaking. Everyone that met Ted at the reception before the speech remarked on how friendly Ted was. My group is absolutely in awe of Ted and the message of his speech.
