Clark Family to Hunt with Nuge as Guide WACO, TX - The Clark Family of Rexburg, Idaho is a hunting family.
That's not remarkable. But each of the four children in this family have muscular dystrophy-and all are in wheelchairs.
When radio and CNN Host Glenn Beck reported on Clarks, Ted Nugent wanted to extend a helping hand. Phone calls were immediately placed. Emails were exchanged. And plans quickly got underway for Nuge to personally guide the Clark boys on an upcoming Dream Hunt.
During a recent fundraising benefit at the Civic Auditorium in Idaho Falls, organized by Beck, Nugent placed a live call to the surprised family.
"Old Uncle Ted wants to take you boys on a hunting trip," he told the Clarks, as the boys beamed. "Anywhere you want to go."
The benefit raised over $200,000 for the family, who also received a van, and additional donations for a new, handicapped accessible home courtesy of Highpointe Homes in Idaho Falls.
If you live in Idaho and would like to volunteer or donate, call the Highpointe office at 208-523-3449. For more information visit the official Clark Family Benefit website.
