Lady Antebellum, Kellie Pickler, and Darius Rucker added as performers for the CMT Awards
Lady Antebellum, Kellie Pickler, and Darius Rucker are the latest additions to the list of performers for this year's CMT Awards airing live June 16.
Fans will also get to see American Idol Judge Randy Jackson, Bill O'Reilly, Luke Wilson, Kid Rock, and Ted Nugent as they have been named as presenters for the evening.
Hosted by comedian-actor Bill Engvall, this year's show performers already include Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Def Leppard.
While tickets for the awards show are sold out, fans can still vote online for their favorite artists at CMT.com up until June 14. During the night of the show fans can text their votes on their Verizon cell phones for the major categories to be announced at the beginning of the night.
More performers and presenters are expected to be announced later this week and early next week. Fans across the blogs are demanding a performance from Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, and other chart-topping artists. It will come as no surprise when these artists are added to the list, as the CMT Awards are the only fan-voted country music awards show and are likely to comply with the fans' demands.
Fans of Lady Antebellum right here in Buffalo, NY can catch them this Thursday at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center performing with Miranda Lambert on Kenny Chesney's Sun City Carnival Tour on LiveNation.com.
