The 2010 Ted Nugent Kamp for Kids (TNKFK) will be held on June 12 at Walnut Creek Recreation Area in Papillion, NE.

Over 800 young people have attended TNKFK in Nebraska since its inception.

The one-day event focuses on providing young people between the ages of 9-14 fundamental instruction in outdoor recreation including archery, fishing and shooting with BB guns.

The Kamp is held in conjunction with the Papillion Parks and Recreation, who provided registration and other services. Registration for TNKFK will begin in March.

TNKFK is also communicating with the Colorado Bowhunters Association about conducting a Kamp at their annual jamboree in July. More information about this event will provided as it becomes available.

"The goal has always been to expand TNKFK to other states, and I am very excited about the opportunity to host a TNKFK in Colorado this summer," said Ted Nugent, of Kamp for Kids.
