Ted Nugent, world renowned guitar showman and media personality, spoke to middle and high school students at The Community School of Naples on Wednesday, October 23, during the Red Ribbon Week festivities. Mr. Nugent is a national spokesman for D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) and famous for his lifelong commitment to embracing an alcohol-free, drug-free, and tobacco-free lifestyle. Nugent spoke to students about healthy choices and non-use.

"The Community School dedicated its Red Ribbon Week 2002 to healthy choices. As a preeminent rock musician, Mr. Ted Nugent is a very powerful role model and spokesman for non-use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs," said School Counselor Angela Murphy.
