Archery season under way

Baldwin - The Motor City Madman will be in Baldwin on Saturday for a Drug Abuse Resistance Education fund-raiser. That's right, Ted Nugent, Michigan's patron saint of bowhunting will be speaking at Peacock Limited of Baldwin to promote his Kamp for Kids and the DARE program.

Nugent is scheduled to be on hand from 10 am - 2 pm Saturday and two lucky visitors to the shop, located six miles north of Baldwin, on M-37 will win hunting trips with Nugent.

Nugent, who has sold more than 30 million albums, has two books in publication and is a regular contributor to the Michigan Outdoor News, has just returned from a USO tour of the Persian Gulf with fellow musician Toby Keith.
