6 billion more reasons to vote in November

Let a publicly traded company lose $6 billion and numerous federal agencies such as the FBI, IRS and Security Exchange Commission would swoop in, conduct investigations, file charges and send those responsible to the cross bars hotel.

Let a federal agency such as the Department of State lose $6 billion over the past six years and nothing much happens except the taxpayers getting fleeced once again. There is zero accountability. Hope and change was a scam from the very beginning, and you know it.

A recently released State Department inspector general report identified that the loss of $6 billion in unaccounted funds poses a “significant financial risk and demonstrates a lack of internal control over the Department’s contract actions.” That’s the understatement of the year.

Almost all of the 6 billion went “poof” while Mrs. Clinton was in charge at the State Department. “What difference does it make?” some idiot may ask.

No one will be charged with a crime or even get fired. Former Secretary Clinton has not been called on the carpet by Congress. The FBI hasn’t been called in to investigate and find our missing 6 billion tax dollars. Par for the course. Standard operating procedure. As Gomer Pyle would say: surprise, surprise!

With Benghazi still smoldering, the missing 6 billion is just the latest flap for the former secretary of state, U.S. senator and first lady who is the presidential front-runner for the Democrats in 2016. She just may be the ultimate liberal Democrat.

Maybe Congress is too inept or spineless to drag her back before them and demand how, on her watch, 6 billion tax dollars simply went “poof.”

With the national debt increasing at almost 3 billion a day, maybe some in Congress believe 6 billion is pocket change, a drop in the bucket.

Surely there must be some Fedzillacrats who believe losing $6 billion is too large a chunk of change to simply go “poof” and disappear without demanding answers. Surely some Fedzilla accountants and auditors are scratching their noggins and shaking their heads at losing so many billions.

The culprit here: the tea party. At least that’s how some are going to try and spin it.

As the November election looms, the Democratic political hit machine and RINOs will do their best to malign the tea party as racists, bigots, homophobes, jingoists, anti-government zealots who are composed of Timothy McVeigh-types.

Meanwhile, there is a gathering storm of Americans who are raising their political pitchforks and don’t even know what the tea party is or what it believes. They see Washington, D.C., as Ronald Reagan did: Government isn’t the solution – it’s the problem.

They see Obamacare as a health-care debacle. They see the jobs market for what it really is: abysmal. They see Putin as strong and Obama weak. They see a government they believe is spying on them. They see a government that has put them and their children and grandchildren on a path to financial ruin. They see a government that is unaccountable and out-of-touch. And now they see 6 more billion of their hard-earned tax dollars simply disappear in a maze of bureaucracy.

These Americans are mad as hell and they aren’t going to take this anymore. No amount of spinning, bobbing and weaving, or smoke-and-mirrors political tricks are going keep these frustrated Americans from the polls. Mrs. Clinton just gave them 6 billion more reasons to show up.

A political storm is brewing. Good. It’s about time.
