On The Edge is a compilation album that explores the early days of Ted’s band The Amboy Dukes. Their best known track “Journey To the Center of the Mind” is featured on this collection, and despite the lyrics encouraging mind-expansion through drug use, the adamantly anti-drug Nuge claims he didn’t know that is what the lyrics are about! The Amboy Dukes and Nuge also churn out a rockin’ good cover of “Baby Please Don’t Go”.
