- 5. Maybelline
Lyrics
Maybelline, why can’t you be true?
Oh Maybelline, why can’t you be true?
You’ve started back doing the things you used to do
As I was motivatin’ over the hill
I saw Maybelline in a coup de ville
A Cadillac a-rollin’ on the open road
Nothin’ will outrun my V8 Ford
The cadillac doin’ ’bout ninety-five
She’s bumper to bumber rollin’ side by side
Maybelline, why can’t you be true?
Oh Maybelline, why can’t you be true?
You’ve started back doing the things you used to do
Pink in the mirror on top of the hill
It’s just like swallowin’ up a medicine pill
First thing I saw that Cadillac grille
Doin’ a hundred and ten gallopin’ over that hill
Offhill curve, a downhill strecth
Me and that Cadillac neck by neck
Maybelline, why can’t you be true?
Oh Maybelline, why can’t you be true?
You’ve started back doing the things you used to do
The Cadillac pulled up ahead of the Ford
The Ford got hot and wouldn’t do no more
It then got clody and it started to rain
I tooted my horn for a passin’ lead
The rain water blowin’ all under my hood
I knew that was doin’ my motor good
Maybelline, why can’t you be true?
Oh Maybelline, why can’t you be true?
You’ve started back doing the things you used to do
The motor cooled down, the heat went down
And that’s when I heard that highway sound
The Cadillac a-sittin’ like a ton of lead
A hundred and ten a half a mile ahead
The Cadillac lookin’ like it’s sittin’ still
And I caught Maybelline at the top of the hill
Maybelline, why can’t you be true?
Oh Maybelline, why can’t you be true?
You’ve started back doing the things you used to do

- Great White Buffalo
Lyrics
All right!
Well, listen everybody
To what I got to say
There’s hope for tomorrow
If we wake up today
Well, it happened long ago
In the new magic land
The Indians and the buffalo
They existed hand in hand
Well, the Indians needed food
And skins for a roof
Only took what they needed
Millions of buffalo were the proof
I said, hey!
But then came the white man
With his thick and empty head
He couldn’t see past the billfold
He wanted all the buffalo dead
So the Indians had a fear
There we no buffalo to be found
The magic seemed to be missing
It started to look like a burial ground
But above the canyon walls
Strong eyes did glow
The leader of the land
The great white buffalo
The great white buffalo
Great white buffalo
Well, he got the battered herd
And he led ’em ‘cross the land
With the great white buffalo
They gonna make a final stand
Now, listen everybody
To what I’ve got to say
There’s hope for tomorrow
We wake up on today
There’s hope for tomorrow
If we wake up today
The great white buffalo
The great white buffalo
The great white buffalo

- 7. Sasha
Lyrics
I know what you’re trying to say to me
I know ’cause I said it before
I know what you’re trying to say to me
You don’t have to try to say it no more
I know that you’re trying to smile for me
I know ’cause it’s there in your eyes
I know that you’re trying to smile for me
and it comes as an old surprise
I feel that you’re here to please me girl
I’m sure you are satisfied
I know that I please you too, my girl
You make me burst with pride
Smile, Sasha, smile
You make my life worth while
Smile, Sasha, smile
Oooh, oh
I know what I’ve got to prove to you
I know, ’cause the world is yours
And i know what you’re trying to prove to me
You’ve gotta smile with joy
This world, it threatens to take it away
It’ll leave you battered and worn
But magic is in my arms today
Little Sasha’s just been born
Smile Sasha, smile
You make my life worth while
Smile, Sasha, smile
Oooh, oh
