INVASION OF THE GUN SNATCHERS

If anyone believes that gun confiscation is not a real threat here in America or that it couldn’t happen here like it did in the U.K. and Australia, just look to what is happening in Connecticut. It is the invasion of the gun snatchers.

In yet more fantasy-driven symbolism over meaningful substance, Connecticut state politicians passed some hastily concocted gun control measures last year that effectively banned numerous standard rifles and magazines. Owners of these weapons are being forced to either turn in these guns or essentially be labeled as felons and prosecuted worse than real law breakers.

Let’s cut to the chase: The weapons being outlawed are so-called “assault weapons.”

Fortunately, thousands of good-guy gun-owning patriots in Connecticut have refused to turn in their weapons. Good. It’s time to make a stand. The truth and common sense must always fight against idiocy and feel-good, politically correct politics.

The only thing “assault” about so-called “assault weapons” is the assault on our Second Amendment rights.

According to the FBI, so-called “assault weapons” that President Obama and Sens. Feinstein and Schumer want to ban are rarely if ever used in crimes. As any street cop will tell you, the engineered recidivism by urban gangster street savages and thugs most often use illegally procured handguns to blow holes in each other. Banning so-called “assault weapons” makes about as much sense as trying to stop the next Ice Age with a wet book of matches.

Millions upon millions of so-called “assault weapons” and standard capacity magazine are in the hands of law-abiding Americans who will never commit a crime or cause any harm to anyone. The facts about these guns and their owners, however, are irrelevant to the gun snatchers. They have an agenda to promote: shredding the Second Amendment.

Regardless what our gun-snatching Fedzillacrats claim, banning so-called “assault weapons” will not reduce crime rates and will not make you any safer. What will make you much safer is returning these Fedzillacrats who are drunk on power and control to the unemployment lines this November.

Additionally, what would make America a safer place to live, work and play would be to permanently ban the real assault weapons that have been let out of their cages time and time again to prey on innocent Americans. We should slam shut once and for all the revolving door of our so-called criminal justice system on these violent punks. Ban violent criminals, not guns.

The good guys in blue agree that roughly 10-20 percent of criminals commit 80-90 percent of all violent crimes. Where is the national discussion to permanently ban these killing, raping and robbing machines? You may have noticed that our lapdog media have never discussed on a Sunday morning talk show permanently banning these violent monsters.

No, we can’t ban these violent punks with their pages-long lifetime rap sheets. That would be inhumane. Instead, our Fedzillacrats want to punish the good guys – the people who haven’t committed any crimes. My, how far we have fallen.

In 1955, my hero, Rosa Parks, refused to give up her seat on a city bus. Good for her. In 2014, gun owners must learn from Rosa Parks and definitely refuse to give up our guns. As Rosa Parks once said, “You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right.”

Political correctness is poison to our republic. We must demand that our laws are based on facts, not “feel good” symbolism.

Don’t ever surrender your guns.
