ROCK TO THE RESCUE RAISES IN EXCESS OF $300,000 FOR MIDWEST TORNADO VICTIMS

A special concert Wednesday night brought together some of the top performers in the nation to provide a glimmer of hope in a dark time. The all-star show, featuring Styx, Ted Nugent, REO Speedwagon and more, sold out in record time.

“We will not have an official number (on the overall donation) until early next week because we are still taking donations online, merchandise is still being sold, and the online eBay auction runs until Monday,” noted Jenna Fecht, marketing and communications manager for the Coliseum. “So it will be well over $300,000 when everything is figured,” she added Thursday.

Proceeds will go to area victims of the devastating storms and tornadoes that struck November 17.

You can still help! The group is conducting a charity auction of rock memorabilia and signed instruments at EBay.com/usr/RockToTheRescue. Direct donations are being taken at RockToTheRescue.net.
