Imagine this from the gang who refuses to shoot straight with the American public:
In yet another week of mad “fundamental transformation” destructo derby insanity by a government careening off the tracks, our illustrious scam artist president unleashes his backdoor gun-control nonsense by banning a bullet that is used in less than .01 percent of crimes, the Democrat-controlled Fedzilla Communications Commission voted to unnecessarily strangle the Internet, the Obama administration clings maniacally to the big dangerous lie that Iran isn’t moving ahead on their nuclear weapons jihad, the president lies again about the Keystone Pipeline, John Kerry blurts that the world has never been safer, goofball RINOs think Lorretta Lynch will make a decent AG, and the outgoing gunrunning attorney general, Eric Holder, recommends “The Autobiography of Malcom X” to young people coming to work in Washington, D.C.
Alfred E. Neuman smiles on.
Throwing a big government bone to his anti-gun and anti-logic minions, Mr. Obama has threatened to ban the ubiquitous .223 round through executive order.
Rifles, which the .223 round is designed for, were used in less than 2 percent of homicides in 2011, according to the FBI.
According to the FBI’s very own statistics, more people were beaten to death with fists, crow bars and Louisville Sluggers than were killed with all varieties and all calibers of rifles in 2011, yet the president has not proposed banning baseball bats and tire irons or the parole of violent offenders.
Mr. Obama will claim that banning this bullet will make America safer. The liar in chief has spoken.
No, it won’t. We should remember that it was Obama who claimed that if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. The man is a pathological liar.
He will claim the .223 round is a bullet that often fits into so-called “assault weapons” such as the AR-15. He will remind us that bug-eyed Adam Lanza used a so-called “assault weapon” to massacre the kids at Sandy Hook Elementary.
Drunk drivers kill many more kids than rifles, yet Mr. Obama has not endorsed banning booze.
More kids drown to death in swimming pools than are killed by rifles, yet Mr. Obama has not championed banning backyard swimming pools.
The truth is that any ordinary rifle round will penetrate most bullet-proof vests, making them all armor-piercing bullets. Fortunately, most fatherless street savages don’t use rifles when shooting at the police. American street cops are not worried about the .223 round.
If Mr. Obama has an itchy banning finger, he should ban racist and tax cheat Al Not-So-Sharpton from access to the White House. He should ban the practice or promotion of Shariah law in America by claiming it is an act of sedition.
The modern Democrat is all about control. From trying to ban guns and now a bullet to taking over the nation’s health care to strangling the Internet, it is Democrats who do not believe in the wisdom of the America people or the free-enterprise system. They would rather ban freedom than support it.
Democrats such as Mr. Obama genuflect at the altar of big government bureaucracy and more mind-numbing over-regulation. They have never seen an economic, social and cultural problem they didn’t believe more government could fix.
Democrats hate good old facts, logic, truth and pragmatism. Indeed, these political punks are on the fast track to fundamentally transform America into a country our Founding Fathers would not recognize.
Just as health care costs have risen under the mis-named Affordable Care Act, you can be assured that your Internet costs will also rise and service will suffer under the FCC’s net neutrality boondoggle. Net neutrality is just more unnecessary Democratic control buffoonery.
Recommending the “Autobiography of Malcom X” is par for the racist course for Eric Holder. Young people headed to Washington would best be served by reading the Declaration of Independence followed by our sacred U.S. Constitution.
Banning a bullet is analogous to banning Baby Ruth candy bars and then claiming you have done something meaningful to control childhood obesity and diabetes. If combating childhood obesity and diabetes were truly the target, honest people would not waste their time banning candy bars but instead endorse an educational upgrade about how to responsibly fuel one’s sacred temple and bring back a vigorous school exercise regimen.
Mr. Obama and Mr. Holder would be wise to remember the old African proverb: “The fact that one is thirsty does not mean one should drink gutter water.”
