The double standard doesn’t get much clearer and more despicable than this.
Back in 2002 when he was a Louisiana state representative, Steve Scalise gave some brief remarks at a conference hosted by the European-American Unity and Rights Organization near New Orleans.
Now a GOP congressman from Louisiana and the House majority whip, Rep. Scalise told a New Orleans newspaper that he attended many events and spoke his opposition to a proposed state tax plan. He said, “I didn’t know who all of these groups were, and I detest any kind of hate group. For anyone to suggest that I was involved with a group like that is insulting and ludicrous.”
That’s not good enough for Democrats. Many of these hypocrites called for him to resign his leadership post.
President Obama’s press secretary, i.e., Minister of Propaganda, Josh Earnst, stated that it says a lot about GOP leaders’ “priorities and values” if they allowed Congressman Scalise to remain in his leadership position.
My take: At least he didn’t inspire anyone to kill people like Al Sharpton does, a man who, according to various media sources, has been to the White House 60 times since 2009.
Mr. Sharpton is a racist through and through, and everyone knows it.
By the way, Mr. Sharpton isn’t a real reverend, so to refer to him as such would be to assist him in perpetuating his con and to denigrate real reverends.
The truth is that Al Sharpton is a conman who makes his living by fanning the otherwise dying embers of racism.
Someone should remind Mr. Earnst that Mr. Sharpton was the self-appointed spokesman/conman for Tawana Brawley who back in 1987 claimed she had been abducted and repeatedly raped by six white men, two of whom were law enforcement officials. She was found with “KKK” written on her chest, a racial epithet on her stomach and her hair smeared with feces.
A grand jury found her story to be a hoax. Sharpton was successfully sued by Steve Pagones, a prosecutor Ms. Brawley accused of raping her. Even with the mountain of evidence exposing his criminal con, Sharpton has yet to admit any wrongdoing in the Tawana Brawley hoax.
And this racist creep has access to the White House?
Mr. Sharpton is also an anti-Semite. During the 1991 Crown Heights riots in Brooklyn that began as a result of a Jewish taxi driver accidentally killing a young black kid with his taxi, Sharpton was center stage, as usual, stoking racial strife.
The result of this was Yankel Rosenbaum being stabbed to death by a black mob yelling “Kill the Jew.”
And this hateful, racist punk has access to the White House?
In December of 1995, Sharpton’s racist rants incited the firebombing of Freddy’s Fashion Mart in Harlem, which resulted in the deaths of seven people.
When he should have been charged with inciting a riot and murder, he’s instead granted access to the White House. Stunning.
In addition to being a racist, Al Sharpton is also a tax cheat. He’s been convicted of tax evasion and, according to the New York Times, still owes $4.5 million in state and federal taxes. He ought to be in prison instead of having access to the White House.
What is the president and his staff thinking by allowing Sharpton access to the White House? Apparently, not much.
Our lapdog media is thinking even less. Not a one of them has yet to call Josh Earnst, the White House press secretary, on the carpet regarding Sharpton’s unfettered access to the White House.
The media’s double standard is appalling. They would most assuredly crucify a Caucasian president who allowed a despicable, low-life racist Klansman access to the White House.
For Mr. Earnst and other Democrats to call for Congressman Scalise to step down is grossly hypocritical considering that a real racist has access to the White House.
Al Sharpton is racist punk. Tell me who you hang with, and I’ll tell you what you are. Tragic.
